As many of you know, I am based out of Miami. Which just so happens to be roughly 3 hours away from the FLORIDA KEYS. Stetson (The Boyfriend) and I have visited twice now since we’ve moved to Florida and thus far, we have only stayed at the Perry Hotel.

The Perry is a charming boutique-esque hotel located along the Marina. Moments from walking up to the resort, you can hear sails chiming in the wind and you can see the boats departing for their snorkeling and sight seeing adventures. The lobby’s easy elegance makes it perfect for lounging and reading a book and its close proximity to the restaurant (Matt’s Stock Island Kitchen) and the pool make it the perfect meeting place to connect before a day in the sun or a meal. Outside, you can sip on chilled flavored water while you bake in the Florida heat or take a dip in the resort style pool. Additionally, if you’re anything like me, you want a drink that has a little something extra in the mix.. wink wink.. you can head over to The Salty Oyster bar and grill to grab a fun poolside cocktail.

Maybe our favorite thing about the hotel is that it’s not just pet friendly, it’s incredibly welcoming to our furry little tag along, making the trip in general so much more DOABLE. We HATE leaving Skipper (our maltese pup) with friends every time we leave. PLUS, our girl loves to travel with us. After all, she needs a little TLC every once in a while too right?

While I haven’t stayed at any other Keys Hotel’s just yet, The Perry makes it incredibly difficult to ever want to book with anyone else. With welcoming staff, incredible amenities, and food that you can’t help but overeat it’s a must stay in my opinion.
