INSTANATURAL

Living in Miami has been wonderful, it’s always a tropical vacation and it’s always WARM. While I love living here for those reasons… my skin has had a different opinion of the climate. As a cheerleader and as someone who lives a generally active (while still glam) lifestyle, I sweat in my makeup almost daily for practices, games and workouts. I have had more breakouts as a 24 year old than almost any other point in my life. Additionally, I am someone who LOVES sunshine. I am not exaggerating when I say I go lay by the pool almost every day… big no no for skin (as you all know) but I love it and I figure the endorphins released from me doing something I love might just undermine the whole “too much sun exposure makes you age thing”.. (jokes).

About a month ago, I decided it was time for a change. I knew I needed to start maintaining a consistent skincare routine or I was going to start paying for it with more scarring from breakouts or even…. dun dun dunnnnn FINE LINES AND WRINKLES. My inner monologue was screaming at me to prevent future signs of aging before it was too late. I loathed that I was 24 – an ADULT (ish) and STILL experiencing breakouts AND beginning to see fine lines here and there…. I always thought that I would get through my teens and BAM.. HELLO BEAUTIFUL GLOWING SKIN and “Why yes Vogue… I will be on the cover of your magazine.” You get it.

That’s when I reached out to my friends at Instanatural. I messaged on instagram (like the millennial I am) and expressed all of my skin concerns and they responded almost immediately. I told them I would be happy to share my success (if I found any) if they wanted to share a few of their products with me to try and WOW did they send me products. They sent not 1, not 2, not 3 products.. but a whole routine that I could do both in the morning and at night (listed below). Additionally, they told me how I could use them and FOLLOWED UP to see how I was liking everything. If that’t not A+ customer service I don’t know what is. They made me feel heard (and not like I was crazy) for wanting to switch things up for my skin.

  • Rose Makeup Cleansing Balm
  • Glycolic Cleanser
  • Age Defying & Skin Clearing Toner
  • Age Defying & Skin Clearing Serum
  • Youth Express Eye Gel
  • Age Defying & Skin Clearing Moisturizer

I have been using them for about a month now, and I kid you not when I say I have seen a REAL improvement. Mainly in my pore size – which was my largest concern. There is nothing more aggravating than when you’re applying makeup and your foundation sinks into those little holes of pure evil. The products they sent were targeted for BOTH breakouts AND aging…. I didn’t know such a thing even existed. With key ingredients such as glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, niacinamide, amino acids, salicylic acid labeled boldly on the front of my crisp white bottles of products I knew immediately what I was putting on my face was the real deal. Additionally, they use NATURAL ingredients with no “parabens, sls/sles, mineral oil, formaldehyde releasers, synthetic dyes, petroleum, polyethylene glycol (PEGs), DEA/MEA/TEA, unsafe preservatives and more.” They provide premiere natural solutions.. to NATURAL problems we face with skin.

Here’s what I didn’t know before I started that you need to FIRST remove your makeup… THEN cleanse… I know it seems idiotic but I had always just used one cleanser to both remove makeup and cleanse.. which now makes sense that I couldn’t possibly be getting all of the makeup off. I also wasn’t very good about staying consistent with my routine.. which is KEY in anything actually working. So stick with it people.

From Day 1 using I stepped out of the bathroom (keep in mind, I’m broke out and not feeling so hot about myself at the moment) and my boyfriend commented on how my skin looked “glowy”. I immediately responded with a scoff-laugh combination… did he not see all the little blemishes..? Then, I looked in the mirror.. my skin did in fact have a glow to it. The products left my face looking.. well.. healthy. Despite the blemishes, it looked overall really bright and had a healthy sheen. I stayed consistent (ish… I could always be better) throughout this month and last night again, we were watching netlfix together – as couples do – and he commented on how pretty my skin was (not a comment I get a lot) and TODAY I knew I had to write about how great the products were. So here we are people.

Everyone is likely going to have a different experience than me because we are all uniquely us – and so is our skin.. but I do encourage you to try the Instanatural products if you are in a place where you want a change.

Thanks for reading my lovelies.
